Teen creates Skyrim mod job application
A 19-year old modder Alexander J. Velicky spent an entire year creating a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in the hopes of someday working for gaming giant Bethsheda games.
The aspiring developer had poured more than 2,000 hours into the Falsakaar, adding over 25+ hours of additional content to the game including new voices, new quests, lore and a new landscape which is one-third of what Skyrim's map is.
"The best way to show Bethesda Game Studios that I want a job there and should be hired is to create content that meets the standards of their incredible development team," Velicky said.
The expansion has already garnered Velicky some notoriety, with the game having been downloaded over 50,000 times.
The mod can be downloaded from Nexus Mods for free.
